Canada Day Fireworks and fun family celebrations will be held all across Dufferin County for 2014. There is swiming, kids events, pony rides, cakes, fireworks and more! You can celebrate Canada Day in Amaranth, Shelburne, Orangeville. Just look at the photos I took or the Orangeville Banner Ads :). There’s something for everyone in Dufferin!
Orangeville – Celebrate Canada Day on July 1, 2014 at the Alder Street Recreation Centre from 2-6 p.m.Activities will include free public swims, “try it” demonstrations in the pool, children’s crafts, rock climbing, old-fashioned family games, Aussie X (learn to play “footy” and “netball”), inflatable features, and “try it” dance demonstrations. Food will be available for purchase.
Fireworks are scheduled for approximately 10 p.m. over Island Lake. View from Rotary Park or Island Lake Conservation Area. The rain date for the fireworks only is Wednesday, July 2.
Shelburne – Festivities begin at 3:00pm!

Free Swim (Proudly Sponsored by RBC Shelburne), Giant Tiger train rides, pony rides, child activity centre, mini tractor pull competition, live entertainment, Annual Shelburne’s Got Talent Competition, bouncy castle inflatables, beef bar-b-q and beer gardens!
Sports Hall of Fame Induction featuring Aaron Downey, Barry Trood, Chris Pomeroy and Dale Lloyd!
We hope your child has received a ticket from the Shelburne Police for safe bike practices, which enters them into a draw for a free bike!!
