I get excited just thinking of the warmer weather, longer days, and soaking up the sunshine and getting that vitamin D naturally. But that will have to wait a few months since we are just getting acquainted with old man winter!
While showing clients the amazing hills of Mulmur in the early part of November and then driving into Alliston for a take-out lunch at Alba Lisa, I ended up taking them and their kids to the Adventure Play ground at Riverside park so we could eat and the kids could run and play like crazy. I’m glad we did because now it’s all covered with snow.
The Rotary Adventure Playground in Alliston is a destination that the entire family can enjoy. It’s a lot of fun and the kids will be talking about long after their adventure 🙂
The park was redeveloped in 2005 and it has turned into an awesome play adventure for all ages. The Adventure Playground is divided into three parts geared to children but by age groups: up to five with swings; a junior area that would be open and accessible slides and swings; and the senior area would be for “thrill seekers” with physical climbers and huge slides and even and very large spiders web climber that ROCKS!! The park might have cost $330,000 but with the amount of kids that come and play here I would say that it was money well spent 🙂
