KABOOM Fireworks

IMG_2571There’s not many places that sell fireworks in Orangeville.  But the closer to Canada day we get it does get busy and it seems there are lots of places that come out of nowhere.

While I was talking to a client on the phone in the Wal-Mart parking lot I noticed a huge shipping container with the word “KABOOM ” in huge letters.  Talk about a invitation, as soon as I hung up I found myself in mid stride towards the the BIG blue shipping container.

IMG_2582So what’s the best way to celebrate Canada Day?  Lighting up the sky? or irritating your geriatric neighbours?  The variety of fireworks available at Kaboom can be intimidating, but after talking with Olivia the manager of Orangeville location. I found her to be very dedicated firework purveyor, so her staff are very knowledgeable and she has some get tips and tricks. And don’t forget she know her firework safety–it’d be a sad fate to spend summer eyebrow-less, if you know what I mean.

Think of Kaboom as your accessible, neighbourhood pyrotechnics enabler. They have locations like these all over Ontario including three locations in the GTA (brick and mortar stores), Kaboom is a one-stop shop for their own brand of fireworks displays, novelty items. Kaboom accepts all payment types.  You can browse item descriptions before you buy online and even watch videos of the fireworks so you know what they do before you buy them.–helpful for those of us who can’t easily suss out the hidden effects behind the Flying Tiger.

Oh and if you want to be in the good books with your family and friends, I’m told that the Mad Scientist is the best to end the night.  It’s a 42 shot cake that features sequentially fires golden comets, flights of golden tailed willows, silver comets, golden tailed white palms, crackling comets and golden tails to crackling bursts. Plus 2 Free Ultra Sonic Booms (cost $59)

They are open starting tomorrow and they are located in the Wal-Mart parking lot.  You can’t miss them.
