As I walked in the front door the coming events board caught my attention. Anyone that knows me, knows that I have a sweet tooth and since we are having such an awesome week weather wise I was happy to see that Dufferin County Museum & Archives will be giving people a chance to learn more about the Maple sap coming straight from our Maple trees.
You guessed it! From March 13 to 18, the museum will be hosting its 2nd annual March Break Maple Syrup Festival, giving visitors the opportunity to learn more about one of Canada’s favourite pastimes.
Starting at 10 a.m. each day, visitors can learn the art of tapping a tree, gathering sap, boiling it, and tasting the flavour of real maple syrup.
The cost per person is $5.00 and for more information you can call 1-877-941-7787,email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.dufferinmuseum.com
