Day 271 of 365 – Night Skiing At Hockley Valley Resort

Most people love the warmer weather, but it’s a big problem for the people who love winter sports.

Many skiers from the Toronto and the GTA expect snow when they travel to Hockley Valley and today that’s what they are going to get!

It’s hasent always been like this during the 2011/2012 ski season but if your going skiing this weekend smile. We have snow and there is even night skiing.

There’s no better way to spend a night in the dead of February or a crisp winter morning than carving down the perfectly groomed trails at Hockley Valley Resort.

Now it’s been 10 years since I’v been on the slopes and whether it’s your first time on skis or a snowboard, or you’re a real enthusiast, they offer 15 scenic runs for all levels, including an upper and lower freestyle terrain park. They have a state-of-the-art snowmaking capabilities so you can except to enjoy an even longer season if the weather hold out.

If you’re here for the afternoon or on a romantic escape or a family weekend getaway, a warm and cozy seat awaits in their lounge for a relaxing après-ski. Your take in a few hours in there spa…but I’ll save that for a different post in the ever evolving 365 things to do in Orangeville and Dufferin county!
