Has life become too hectic, too rushed, too impersonal? It seems the busier people get, the more they need to slow things down, to unplug from technology, to reconnect with family, friends and themselves (me included). Pottery painting is simply a venue for rejuvenating the soul. My friends say that it provides an opportunity for relaxed social interaction, creative exploration, and simple hands-on play. It’s fun art, not fine art …anyone can do it…and everyone could!
Well at Pottery Parties they put the Art in Party! You can join them at their new studio in downtown Orangeville on Mill street! Drop in, bring your latte, and paint ceramics with friends & family. Pick something up at their Art Boutique.
I meet my family there the other day and was amazed at all the great things they were working on. They host art birthday parties, ceramic painting ladies nights, after school art programs & spin the pottery wheel sessions.
Tanya established her business in 2005 and has watched Pottery Parties in the Hills grow to where it is today. It started as a mobile fired arts studio where they originally brought the art party to you. This past September she created a birthday party studio and drop in center for her clients to paint, shop & have fun. The drop in Studio hours are
Thursday 10:00 am -7:00 pm
Friday 10:00 am – 7:00 pm
Saturday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm
If you looking for something different this holiday season or for birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers and fund raisers or to entertain your guests with fired arts you have found the place. They even provide all the materials, instructions, and fun for your special event. Paint ceramics, play with clay & spin the pottery wheel. Leave the mess with us!! Become the artist you have always wanted to be one step at a time! Tanya was so helpful when I stopped in to say hi to my family and I’m sure she will be helpful to you as well.
