Today at 10:40am Friday November 11 2011 the Knights of Columbus will participate like they do every year in the Town of Orangeville’s Remembrance Day ceremony at our local Cenotaph at behind Town Hall 87 Broadway Ave, Orangeville, ON
They and we will honour the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and the citizens of the world. This year they hoping to have members of the 4th Degree present to lay our wreath.
Come if you can and encourage everyone to come out to participate in this solemn and very important event. If you can’t make it please stand for a moment of silence and remember at 11:00 am today.
At this time of the year we keep in our prayers our brothers and sisters fathers and mothers uncles and aunts that are on active duty that they come home safe. We pray for their families who go through each day worrying. We also pray for the souls of those who have given their lives for our freedom.
For all of this I say “THANK YOU!”
