Day 124 of 365 – Olde Country Farms

I moved to Dufferin County for very good reasons, and making an effort to eat healthy was definitely one of them. Not surprisingly, it’s also one of the hardest to maintain sometimes. Luckily, local families  like Olde Country Farm is here to help.

Their name does a pretty great job of summing up what they do. They bring natural and organic farm-grown products to your doorstep on a weekly basis or come to their farm and select what you want then put the money in box and go home and enjoy your awesome healthy food. Their products are exclusively from their farm and local neighbourhood farms,  They have only been in operation for 2 years but the selection they have is very good. Their menu can change weekly based on what’s in season, but they have everything from local produce, baked goods, fruits, jarred preserves, eggs and more.

The apple sauce muffins and Pumpkin Spice Biscotti are awesome and the Biscotti is not rock hard…LOL and they stock the stand with brownies, pumpkin loaf, blueberry crumble muffins and foccacia bread along with other things mentioned above.  Oh and the Organic chocolate cookies AWESOME!!!!!!

If you are wanting to give it a try, you can checkout their facebook page for more details…they updated everyday!

I love Dufferin (obviously), but one of the coolest things about this area is how the community supports local businesses. It’s definitely unique.
